Returns Policy for GetStuff.co.za

At GetStuff.co.za, we strive to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. Our Returns Policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and offers peace of mind when shopping with us.

1. Your Right to Return Products

You may return products under the following conditions:

  • Defective or Damaged Products
    If the product you received is defective, damaged, or not functioning as intended, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund. Please report defects within six (6) months of delivery.
  • Incorrect Items
    If we delivered the wrong product, you are eligible for a free return and a replacement or refund.
  • Change of Mind
    In compliance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you may return an item within 7 days of receiving it, provided:

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Products that have been personalized or custom-made.
  • Items that have been used or are no longer in their original condition and packaging (except in cases of defects).

3. Process for Returns

To initiate a return:

    Ensure the product is securely packed to prevent damage during return shipping.

    Arrrange for collection with your courier and provide instructions for returning the item.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned product has been inspected and deemed eligible.
  • Approved refunds will be issued within 7–14 business days via the original payment method.
  • If a refund is denied (e.g., for items not meeting return criteria), we will notify you and return the item to you at your cost, or allow 30 days for you to arrange collection from us.
  • We cannot guarantee free storage of your items after 30 days have lapsed.

5. Repairs and Replacements

Under the CPA, defective products can be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to you within 6 months of purchase. If the product fails again after repair or replacement, you may be entitled to a refund.

  • Shipping Costs:
    In cases of defective products or incorrect deliveries, we will cover the return shipping costs. For all other returns, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
